If you are new to the industry or need to broaden your understanding of the U.S. capital markets, this 2 day class provides you the background you need. We start an overview of the U.S. capital markets and examine modern portfolio theory and behavioral finance. We begin our study of market structure with the history of US equity markets, dark liquidity and their evolution into electronic markets, high frequency trading and institutional trading algos. Post trade processing is addressed and additional asset classes fixed income, forex, options and futures.
